Construction Field Coordinator (Foreman Equivalent)

Legere Group is one of the largest custom architectural millwork manufacturers in the US. We have been fabricating and installing millwork for over 50 years. Our team is currently seeking an Onsite Project Field Coordinator. This position will work closely with Project Managers with planning and implementation of projects from the time of award through completion. This role is best suited for someone with foreman-level experience who enjoys being hands-on in the field, coordinating subcontractors, and performing site layouts. While we utilize subcontractors for installation, this position plays a critical role in ensuring work is properly planned, aligned, and executed on-site.

This position requires routine travel to job sites throughout NYC, Westchester, NY, NJ, MA and CT. This is a full-time salaried position offering competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors on-site to ensure alignment with project plans
• Perform site layout and verify measurements, elevations, and placement
• Act as the primary field point of contact between project management and trades
• Ensure subcontractor work meets quality, safety, and schedule expectations
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively
• Review drawings and ensure accurate execution in the field
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to project leadership

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the commercial architectural millwork business is preferred
• Ability to read contract drawings and interpret contract specifications as they relate to architectural cabinetry and millwork
• Strong organizational skills a must
• 2+ years' experience in a similar role and environment preferred.
• Comprehensive computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Bluebeam and Production Software)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical thinker
