Commercial Insurance Producer

Lions & Coventry Insurance Services, LLC is an independent insurance agency seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Producer to generate and place new commercial property and casualty business. This is a remote, 1099 independent contractor sales role for an experienced insurance professional with a demonstrated record of commercial new-business production. About the Role As a Commercial Insurance Producer, you will be responsible for developing new commercial insurance relationships, generating new business, and placing commercial property and casualty accounts through available agency markets. You will work independently while coordinating with agency staff on submissions, quoting, binding, and account service. Responsibilities Generate new commercial insurance business through prospecting, referrals, networking, and relationship development Build relationships with business owners, referral partners, and commercial insurance prospects Identify insurance needs and present appropriate commercial insurance solutions Quote and place commercial property and casualty policies through available agency markets Work with agency staff to coordinate submissions, quoting, binding, and account servicing Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with prospects and clients Manage sales activity independently in a remote work environment Develop and grow commercial insurance business in accordance with applicable producer and agency agreements Qualifications Proven experience producing new commercial insurance business Commercial Property & Casualty insurance sales experience Active insurance license appropriate for the business written Demonstrated prospecting, relationship-building, and new-business development skills Strong communication and follow-up skills Ability to work independently and manage sales activity remotely Preferred Qualifications Experience with construction accounts or other specialized commercial industries Established commercial insurance relationships or a demonstrated history of consistent new-business production Experience working with commercial insurance carriers and agency markets Compensation and Work Arrangement This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation consists of a recoverable draw plus commission. Draw and commission arrangements are individually structured based on factors such as the producer's experience, demonstrated production history, business opportunities, and book of business, where applicable. Compensation terms will be established in writing with the selected producer.
