Commercial HVAC Mechanical Project Manager

Direct Hire Full-Time Competitive Salary + Performance Bonuses

We're hiring a Commercial HVAC Mechanical Project Manager to lead the financial and administrative execution of commercial HVAC construction projects. You'll work in equal partnership with our General Superintendent in a dual-leadership model-you own the financials and administration, they drive field labor and manpower, and together you deliver projects on time, on budget, and to spec.

Responsibilities:

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control across HVAC construction projects
• Partner with the General Superintendent to align labor hours and manpower with project goals
• Coordinate with clients, general contractors, engineers, and internal teams
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
• Monitor schedules and proactively resolve delays or conflicts
• Ensure compliance with specs, safety standards, and company policies
• Support procurement and delivery of HVAC equipment and materials
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in commercial HVAC project management (air and water side systems)
• Strong knowledge of ductwork, AHUs, VAVs, chilled/hot water piping, pumps, and coils
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and documentation
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam Revu, and Excel
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
