Job Title: CNC Programmer - Experienced

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced CNC Programmer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in programming CNC machines (lathes and/or mills), with a proven ability to create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for precision parts manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:
Program CNC lathes and mills using G-code/M-code and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam or similar).
Create, test, and revise CNC programs for prototype and production parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and 3D models to determine optimal machining strategies.
Collaborate with machinists and management to ensure part accuracy and manufacturability.
Optimize feeds, speeds, and tool paths for quality, efficiency, and tool life.
Troubleshoot and revise programs as needed based on machine performance or quality issues.
Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job.
Maintain documentation of programs, setup sheets, and machining processes.
Ensure all work complies with quality standards and safety protocols.
Solidwork experience a plus
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of CNC programming experience (lathe and/or mills).
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD files.
Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CAM programming software.
Familiarity with Fanuc and Haas controls.
Understanding of tooling, workholding, and material properties.
Experience working with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
Ability to work independently and in coordination with shop floor teams.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with aerospace components or tight-tolerance work.
Background in conventional machining is a plus.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
