BBSI has partnered with an innovative aerospace and environmental testing organization seeking an experienced CNC Programmer & Machinist to join our growing team in Glendale, CA.

This role is ideal for a hands-on machining professional with strong CNC programming experience who thrives in a high-precision, aerospace-regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate HAAS VF2 and TL-1 CNC machines
• Operate and maintain OMAX waterjet equipment
• Machine small-run parts, prototypes, and custom fixtures
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Ensure all parts meet quality and tolerance requirements
• Maintain shop organization, safety, and equipment upkeep
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve processes
• Train team members on machine shop equipment and best practices

Required Experience

• 5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience
• Strong experience with HAAS CNC equipment
• Experience with OMAX waterjet systems
• Experience working in an AS9100 or aerospace-regulated manufacturing environment
• knowledge of AS9100 documentation and quality standards
• Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot machining issues
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
