What You'll Do
  • Complete full setups on CNC lathes and turning centers, including GR100, WT150, WT250, and comparable equipment.
  • Set up twin-spindle, multi-axis, Y-axis, live-tooling, bar-fed, and robotic turning processes as assigned.
  • Review job packets, blueprints, tooling requirements, setup instructions, and inspection requirements.
  • Install and indicate jaws, chucks, collets, fixtures, and workholding; select, install, and touch off tools.
  • Create or edit G-code and conversational programs directly at Fanuc, Mazatrol, or Okuma OSP machine controls.
  • Set and adjust work offsets, tool offsets, speeds, and feeds; prove out programs safely.
  • Troubleshoot setup, tooling, program, and process problems to keep production moving.
  • Complete first-piece and in-process inspection using calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, comparators, and other precision tools.
  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records and a clean, safe, organized work area.
What You Bring

  • Demonstrated ability to complete setups independently from job packet through first-piece approval.
  • Hands-on experience programming or making substantial program edits at the machine control.
  • Experience with Fanuc, Mazatrol, Okuma OSP, or closely related controls.
  • Experience with Okuma, Mazak, Nakamura, Mori Seiki, or comparable multi-axis turning equipment.
  • Strong blueprint reading, GD&T, shop math, tooling, workholding, and precision measurement skills.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, AS9100, prototype, or low-volume/high-mix machining is preferred.
Work Environment
  • On-site manufacturing position in Eastlake, Ohio.
  • Regular work around CNC equipment, metal chips, coolant, oil, and production noise.
  • Safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety-toe footwear are required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds.
