Our organization is on the lookout for both full-time and part-time Licensed Psychologists to join our mission of delivering in-person psychotherapy services to the elderly population. We currently cater to over 300 Skilled Nursing Facilities, including sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted living facilities across NJ, NY, PA, and MD.

As a clinician-owned and operated entity, we take pride in offering supportive counseling through patient-centered psychological services that significantly enhance residents' mood, functioning, and overall quality of life. By collaborating closely with facility staff, we strive to improve outcomes for both residents and the care teams that assist them. We manage all administrative tasks-including billing, insurance, credentialing, and pre-certifications-allowing you to focus on what you excel at: providing outstanding clinical care!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in subacute or skilled nursing facilities.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of emotional and behavioral health issues, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline.
  • Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
  • Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to enhance patient care.
  • Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation in line with regulatory standards using our clinician-designed electronic health record system (EHR).
  • Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Psychologist in the state of application.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic technological proficiency, including familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities, with a focus on regulatory compliance.
  • Capability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, within a 45-minute travel radius.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, and navigate between patient rooms and offices throughout the day.
  • Full vaccination and booster status may be required at certain facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior clinical experience in subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare settings.
  • Experience treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
    • Experience in psychology or addictions is a plus.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
