Description
:The Cardiac Rehab nurse is responsible for managing the care of the adult or geriatric patient experiencing acute, chronic, and/or terminal cardiovascular diseases, and any comorbid medical conditions as they work toward recovery and achievement of their maximum health status, typically in an outpatient setting. The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, monitor patient response to exercise, monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, and provide patients and families with support and education.Education: Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Experience: Previous nursing experience preferred Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrate effective leadership abilities Exhibits valuable time management skills Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
