Chem Tech I

Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical and quality control industry, is seeking a Chem Tech I to join their team. As a Chem Tech I, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Chem Tech I

Location: San Fernando, CA

Pay Range: $22-$28

Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

What's the Job?

• Provide technical support to the Quality Control laboratory by sampling and testing incoming materials, in-process blends, and bulk products.
• Perform physical and analytical tests on raw materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Prepare laboratory solutions and review documentation for completeness prior to submission.
• Refer non-conforming products to the Quality Control Supervisor for proper disposition.
• Support lab tasks and maintain accuracy, precision, and attention to detail in all activities.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 months related laboratory experience; 1 year preferred.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with laboratory tools such as calculators and balances.
• Ability to read and write in English effectively.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs and work in a warehouse and laboratory environment.
