Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHumCap's client is looking for a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) to support aircrew readiness for the physical demands of modern combat aviation. This role is responsible for reducing injury risk and enhancing operational performance through the design and implementation of individualized, comprehensive strength and conditioning programs. These programs integrate prehabilitation, performance-focused training, and recovery strategies. The CSCS will also provide instructional support, assist with reconditioning following injury, and contribute to data collection efforts that support performance outcomes. Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver job-specific strength and conditioning programs tailored to aircrew demands
Integrate prehabilitation, performance training, and recovery protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support rehabilitation and return-to-fly initiatives
Provide instructional support and assist with reconditioning following injury
Participate in curriculum development and program evaluation
Maintain accurate data and contribute to research and performance analysis
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of strength and conditioning experience in collegiate or professional sports, tactical, aerospace, or similar high-performance man-machine environments
Current NSCA CSCS or CSCCa SCCC certification
Current CPR and AED certification
Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one (T3 background investigation required)
U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
