About the PositionTransForce is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Yard Jockey for a full-time position in Liberty, Missouri. This opportunity offers a consistent four-day workweek, competitive hourly pay, and overtime opportunities. Drivers will be responsible for moving and positioning tractor-trailers within a Ford facility yard. No freight unloading required.
Pay & Schedule- $26.00 per hour
- Overtime after 40 hours
- Tuesday through Friday
- 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM
- Four 12-hour shifts per week
- Full-time position
- Route type: Local yard operations
- Equipment: Tractor-trailers
- Freight handling: 100% no-touch
- Work location: Liberty, MO
- Shift: B Shift, overnight
- Safely move and position tractor-trailers throughout the facility yard.
- Spot trailers at designated loading docks and parking locations.
- Coordinate trailer movements with yard and warehouse personnel.
- Perform required equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Maintain a safe and organized yard environment.
- Follow all applicable DOT and facility safety procedures.
- Valid CDL Class A license
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Ability to safely maneuver and back tractor-trailers in a busy yard environment
- Strong attention to safety and communication
- Must meet all applicable DOT and FMCSA requirements
