Our client is seeking CDL A drivers for regional store freight deliveries from Harvard, Illinois. This position involves local and overnight routes using automatic day cab or sleeper trucks, with light-touch unloading. Drivers can expect clear route assignments, professional support, and the opportunity to transition from temporary to permanent employment.

• Pay: $26 per hour
• Schedule: 5 to 6 days per week
• Typical shift: 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Dispatch times and route assignments may vary.
• Layovers may be required for overnight routes.
• Employment type: Temporary to permanent

• Equipment: Automatic CDL A tractors, including day cab and sleeper trucks
• Handling: Light-touch unloading using a manual pallet jack and liftgate
• Overnight assignments may include approximately 3 to 4 layovers per week.

• Operate automatic CDL A day cab and sleeper trucks safely and professionally.
• Deliver store freight on local and regional routes from Harvard, Illinois.
• Complete overnight routes and assigned layovers as scheduled.
• Assist with light-touch unloading using a manual pallet jack and liftgate.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Communicate professionally with store personnel and dispatch.

• Valid CDL A.
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Hazmat endorsement when required by the assigned route.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
