Our client is seeking experienced CDL A Hazmat Drivers for local delivery routes in Roanoke. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, daily home time, and the opportunity to join a driver-focused team. The assignment is temp-to-perm.

• Pay: $1,400+ per week
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays
• Start time: 3:00 p.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Home time: Home daily

• Route type: Local
• Freight: Hazmat freight
• Equipment: CDL A equipment
• Handling: Heavy touch freight
• Employment type: Temp-to-perm

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes.
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and safety standards.
• Perform required handling tasks, including heavy touch freight.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
• Meet the physical demands of the role.

• Valid CDL A license.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Hazmat endorsement, endorsement H.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
