Cat Scan (CT) Technician

Schedule: this is a full-time, night shift role that offers some schedule flexibility and will work either 5x8s or 4x10s. This role could work Monday through Thursday from 11 pm to 9 am or Monday through Friday from 12 am to 8 am or 11 pm to 7 am. How youll contribute A Cat Scan (CT) Technician who excels in this role: Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice. Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate. Prepares equipment and supplies. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure. What were looking for Applicants should have a current NM Radiologic Technologist license and possess an associate degree in a related field. Additional requirements include: Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) current upon hire. License: ARRT certified/registered in radiography and Computed Tomography (CT)
