OCEANSIDE MARINE CONSTRUCTION is seeking a motivated, hardworking Marine Construction Dock BuilderS to join our team. This is not a typical construction job. We build custom waterfront structures that require craftsmanship, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. Every project is unique, and every team member plays a critical role in delivering the high-quality results our customers expect.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 1-5 years of construction experience required.

• Marine construction, dock building, carpentry, framing, or related trade experience preferred.

• Must be willing and able to work both in and around the water.

• Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Must speak and understand fluent English.

• Must demonstrate strong water safety awareness and follow all safety procedures.

• Must be able to safely operate and maintain construction tools and equipment.

• Must be dependable, punctual, and maintain a positive attitude.

• Must be physically capable of lifting heavy materials, climbing, carrying equipment, and performing strenuous labor.

• Must be available Monday through Friday, with weekends as necessary to meet project schedules.

• All candidates should be located and able to travel to locations in and around The Grand Strand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with the construction, repair, and installation of docks, boathouses, seawalls, and other marine structures.

• Follow project plans, specifications, and company building procedures.

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively.

• Load, unload, transport, and organize materials and equipment.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.

• Follow all company safety protocols and water safety requirements.

• Communicate professionally with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.

• Represent Oceanside professionally on every job site.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Reliable transportation required.

• Valid driver's license preferred.

• Ability to perform physically demanding work in a marine construction environment.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

COMPENSATION

• W-2 Employment.

• Starting pay starts at $20-$30 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

• Oceanside maintains a consistent workload, providing a solid work-week schedule with little to no downtime throughout the year.
