Adecco Search is recruiting on behalf of our client in the Raleigh, NC area for the position of CAD Drafter to join a dynamic telecom integrator. This role will support the design and implementation of low-voltage technology systems. This role works closely with engineers, project managers, and installation teams to develop accurate construction documents for electronic security, network infrastructure, healthcare technology, and communication systems.

The ideal candidate will have some experience producing technical drawings for commercial projects and possess a understanding of drafting standards, construction documentation, and building code requirements.

In office-North side of Raleigh, NC. Direct hire. Mon-Fri 730a-4p $25/hour Great benefits (Start day 1) Health, vision, dental, life, 401k, etc. Local candidates only.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain CAD drawings and construction documents for low-voltage technology systems.

• Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, riser diagrams, wiring schematics, and installation details.

• Produce drawings for:

  • Access Control Systems

  • Video Surveillance (CCTV)

  • Intrusion Detection Systems

  • Structured Cabling & Network Infrastructure

  • Healthcare Technology Systems

  • Communication Systems

• Interpret architectural, mechanical, electrical, and engineering drawings to integrate technology systems into project designs.

• Incorporate device locations, cable pathways, equipment layouts, legends, and system symbols into construction documents.

• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local building codes, state regulations, and applicable industry standards.

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field personnel to ensure accurate system design and installation requirements.

• Revise drawings based on field redlines, change orders, and installation feedback.

• Maintain drawing revisions, project documentation, and electronic file management systems.

• Assist with permit packages, bid documents, customer submittals, as-built drawings, and project closeout documentation.

• Provide CAD support throughout project planning, design, installation, and completion phases.
