CAD Designer - Construction / Framing (Type V)

We're looking for a detail-driven, bilingual CAD Designer who understands Type V wood frame construction and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. If you're someone who takes pride in precision and enjoys seeing your work come to life in the field-this is the opportunity for you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Create and modify CAD drawings (DWG format) with accuracy and efficiency
• Partner with project managers, engineers, and field teams to bring designs to life
• Interpret architectural and structural plans, with a focus on wood framing
• Ensure designs meet project specs, building codes, and quality standards
• Revise drawings based on real-time feedback and field conditions
• Keep drawings and revisions organized and up to date

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a CAD Designer in construction or framing
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar DWG platforms
• Solid understanding of Type V (wood frame) construction
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) - able to communicate across teams
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with Vertex software
• Hands-on field or construction experience
