Job duties: Plan and lead purchasing of resins (PA66, PP, ABS, PPE/PA/PS/PC blends); chemicals (basecoats, primers, clearcoats, thinners, solvents, hardeners); metal components (stainless and carbon steel wires, clips, fasteners); and decorative/functional components (chrome badges, plastic injected parts, adhesives) for assigned OEM vehicle maker customer programs. Establish project purchasing budget (labor, burden, material costs, part geometry, manufacturing facility capabilities and capacity; Selling, General, and Administrative (SG&A) expenses and profit) and ensure alignment with program objectives. Prepare and present project purchasing status for milestone reviews. Manage purchase requests (PRs), purchase orders, and supplier payment schedules during project phase. Travel requirements: Required domestic and international travel to automotive component suppliers for site visits to assess and define improvements to supplier manufacturing processes and to OPmobility plants in U.S. and Mexico to discuss technical plans and product specification changes, up to 6 week per year (equal to 11% annual travel). Education: Bachelor, Business, Engineering, Communications, Supply Chain or related. Experience: Twelve months' experience as Supply Project Manager, Supply Chain Project Manager, Procurement Specialist, or related, planning and leading purchasing of resins and chemicals (including basecoats/clearcoats) for OEM customer programs, and establishing project purchasing budget (including labor, burden, material costs, and facility capacity), or related.
