Bedard Bros Auto Sales is seeking a skilled Automotive Painter to join our team in Cheshire, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience working with water-based paint lines and a background with Spies Heckler paints. This role requires a dedicated professional with at least two years of automotive painting experience to ensure high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking prior to painting

- Apply water-based paint and clear coats accurately using the Spies Heckler paints

- Ensure all paint work meets company quality standards and industry safety guidelines

- Maintain and clean painting equipment to ensure optimal performance

- Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and customer specifications

- Inspect finished vehicles to detect any imperfections or inconsistencies

Requirements

- Minimum of two years experience in automotive painting

- Proficiency with water-based paint lines

- Experience with Spies Heckler paint preferred

- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

- Knowledge of safety protocols related to paint application and equipment handling
