Position Overview CloudRay is hiring an Automotive Floater for a reputable automotive manufacturer near Huntsville, AL. This is a hands-on position focused on body prep, sanding, bonding, and finishing work on modular boxes before paint and final assembly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in detailed work, and is looking for steady hours with growth potential. Job Responsibilities • Sand and prepare modular boxes for bodywork and painting • Apply and smooth bondo compound on surfaces as needed • Grind, sand, buff, and finish repaired areas for paint preparation • Mask and tape boxes for paint and finishing operations • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment • Assist with additional production duties as assigned Qualifications • No experience required - automotive body shop experience is a plus • Ability to use hand tools, sanders, grinders, and buffing equipment • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and standing • Must be able to wear respiratory protection equipment • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions • High School Diploma or GED preferred • Must pass background check and drug screening • Closed-toe shoes required Schedule & Pay Monday-Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Friday: 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM Optional Overtime Available: • Early start at 5:00 AM • Saturdays: 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM Competitive pay plus overtime opportunities Benefits Through CloudRay Weekly Pay Health Insurance Referral Bonuses Performance-Based Incentives Temp-to-Hire Career Growth Opportunity Location Conveniently commutable from: • Huntsville, AL (35810, 35811, 35816) • Madison, AL (35758) • Athens, AL (35611) Apply Today!
