What You'll Do

You will independently manage family law matters from initial consultation through final resolution, including:

Conduct client consultations and develop legal strategies

Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and correspondence

Negotiate settlements

Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials

Maintain proactive communication with clients and team members

Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to provide exceptional client service

Build and maintain a personal book of business while contributing to the continued growth of the firm

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

Licensed to practice law in North Carolina and in good standing

Experience handling family law matters from consultation through resolution

An existing family law book of business (preferred)

Strong courtroom and negotiation skills

Excellent legal writing and analytical abilities

Outstanding organizational and time management skills

Exceptional attention to detail

A compassionate, empathetic approach to client service

Positive attitude and enthusiasm for teamwork
