What You'll Do
Manage a focused caseload of criminal defense and civil rights matters
Develop and execute trial strategies from case inception through resolution
Draft and argue motions, evidentiary challenges, and appeals
Conduct depositions, hearings, and trials
Collaborate with an experienced litigation team and dedicated support staff
Utilize advanced legal technology platforms including Clio, Lawmatics, and Lexis/Westlaw
3-5 years of litigation experience
Missouri Bar license in good standing
Public defender or criminal defense experience strongly preferred
Experience as lead or co-counsel in felony trials
Strong courtroom advocacy and motion practice skills
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
