Assistant Yard Managers

JOB TITLE:Assistant Yard Managers JOB LOCATION:32975 W Hwy 84, Stanfield, AZ 85172 JOB DUTIES: Responsible for serving as first-line supervisor for Cattle Consumption Specialists, Cattle Health Inspectors, Bovine Wellness Clinicians, and maintenance crews for feedlot system. Specific duties include: (1) Reporting to Yard Manager and assisting in reviewing and creating processes to improve each crew's impact on the feedlot system; (2) Supervising Cattle Consumption Specialists, including inspecting feed bunks and determining whether animals are being fed the proper amount; (3) Supervising and training Cattle Health Inspectors to ensure sick animals are properly identified, isolated, and treated; (4) Creating daily task sheets and instructing Cattle Health Inspectors on shipping, processing, and pen moves; (5) Supervising Bovine Wellness Clinicians to ensure animals are properly triaged, diagnosed, and treated, and communicating results with management; (6) Supervising maintenance crews; (7) Serving as a bridge between the crews and the main office.
