STATEMENT OF JOB
The assembler II carries out the work as scheduled following the production orders assigned each day. Job duties involve production of a multitude of parts (many of which are low volume production items and are scheduled infrequently). Assembles parts according to drawing or work instructions, checks accuracy of parts against print and verifies correct parts are available for production order. The employee is expected to work out problems and troubleshoot components or rework components to specifications as prescribed. He/she will occasionally evaluate repairs, retests, and repacks customer returned products. Specifically, this position requires the use of judgment to plan and perform work, make decisions as to the sequence of set-ups, operations, processes and quality within the limitations of recognized UL, ISO, and Tyco standards. The company reserves the right to rotate employees to other departments or work assignments within the organization as needed based upon skill set, production needs, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 18 years of age and have a HS Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read and interpret prints, work instructions and production orders. Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude, understanding of decimals & fractions. Basic computer skills. Standing and repetitive motions will be required, such as bending. Lifting of parts and assemblies/components up to 40 lbs. Work with various lubricants and adhesives. Requires hand and arm tugging/pulling with frequent lifting of light to average weights. Must be able to assemble small parts by hand, requiring hand and finger dexterity. Must be able to retain a large volume of product knowledge and manufacturing variations. The following training is required for this job position. Applicable Safety Training related to specific job tasks 100% minimum pass rate. ISO 9001 Quality Policy and all job specific procedures, work instructions, and use of applicable forms. 3-day Safety Training. Lock out/Tag out training (if applicable). Hoist training.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $23.57 - $26.21 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
