Hwy. 84, Stanfield, AZ 85172 Job Duties:Responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing effective regimens for the treatment of sick cattle and ensuring the overall health, safety, and wellbeing of livestock. Specific duties include: (1) Establishing professional animal health and welfare protocols; (2) Working alongside veterinarian in conducting necropsies; (3) Maintaining and analyzing animal medical records to identify trends in wellness and treatment; (4) Examining animals to detect illness, injury, or diseases and treating minor injuries and ailments; (5) Working with veterinarians to obtain treatment for animals with serious illnesses or injuries; (6) Analyzing cattle health and wellness procedures and making recommendations to optimize protocols and cattle handling policies and improve livestock doctoring, breeding, and wellness practices; (7) Performing detailed recordkeeping on animal wellness and health.
