Sets up, operates and maintains laboratory instruments, monitors experiments, makes observations, calculates and records results, and often develops conclusions. Individual is familiar with basic scientific principles and has had some laboratory experience. Can follow written direction and maintain a laboratory notebook. Has good communication skills and is computer literate. A degree, GMP, GLP, FDA, RCRA, and OSHA knowledge may be required.

Entry-level candidates are welcome; the team has had strong success hiring recent graduates from chemical technician programs.
Training & Work Environment
New hires receive 4-6 weeks of safety and lab training before handling chemicals.
After safety training, they are paired with an SME for instrument-specific training until fully independent.
The lab is highly collaborative, with 10 technicians working together to complete sample testing.

Preferred format: Onsite, one-round interview including:

Expected duration: 2-3 hours.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week, typically 8 AM-5 PM.
Flexible start/end times, but core hours of 9 AM-3 PM are required.
Physical Requirements
All work is indoors.
No field sample collection; samples are shipped to the lab.
Candidates will unpackage sample kits but will not perform outdoor or physical collection tasks.
