About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AI Marketing Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of AI-enabled initiatives across Marketing and Communications.
This role will serve as the critical bridge between Marketing business stakeholders and AI/Technology teams, translating marketing priorities into actionable technology initiatives and driving projects from initial concept and proof of concept through testing, implementation, adoption, and ongoing measurement.
The ideal candidate brings strong project/program management experience combined with digital marketing, content, web, social media, communications technology, or digital transformation experience. This is not an AI engineering role. You will work closely with technical teams but are responsible for driving the business, delivery, governance, and stakeholder side of AI initiatives.
What You'll Do
Build and manage integrated project and portfolio plans covering scope, milestones, dependencies, resources, budgets, risks, and delivery timelines.
Partner with Marketing leaders and business owners to identify and prioritize AI use cases and translate business needs into actionable requirements.
Serve as the primary bridge between Marketing stakeholders and AI/Technology development teams.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across Marketing, Technology, Architecture, Engineering, Data, Security, Testing, Vendors, and distributed delivery teams.
Lead AI proofs of concept, rapid prototypes, testing plans, pilots, implementation, and rollout activities.
Support initiatives involving AI-assisted content creation, multilingual content publishing, automated content tagging, AI agents, web properties, CRM enhancements, and marketing workflow automation.
Establish acceptance criteria, KPIs, success measures, and business outcomes for AI initiatives.
Manage dependencies related to data quality, platform integration, workflow design, architecture, and subject-matter expertise.
Ensure appropriate consideration of AI governance, privacy, security, compliance, brand standards, and human oversight throughout project delivery.
Track budgets, resources, milestones, risks, issues, and project performance.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings, status reviews, gateway reviews, and executive communications.
Coordinate teams across the U.S., Ireland, and India, including maintaining regular collaboration with European teams.
Lead adoption and change-management activities, including communications, training, stakeholder engagement, and feedback.
Ensure projects transition successfully from pilot or implementation into sustainable operational support.
Provide clear reporting to senior leadership on progress, decisions, risks, issues, dependencies, and required escalations.

Must-Have Qualifications
5 7+ years of project or program management experience
Experience working within a large, complex, global organization
PMP certification strongly preferred/required
Strong Agile project management and strategic planning experience
Demonstrated experience coordinating technology and business/marketing teams
Experience managing complex, cross-functional technology, digital, data, automation, or AI initiatives
Experience with project budgets, resource planning, schedules, dependencies, risks, and delivery
Strong understanding of AI concepts, including:
Generative AI and AI models
AI agents
AI use-case identification
AI governance
Privacy and security considerations
Responsible AI and human oversight
Experience managing POCs, pilots, rapid prototypes, testing plans, and implementation
Strong executive communication and stakeholder-management skills
Experience working with distributed teams across the U.S., Ireland, and/or India
Ability and willingness to maintain working-hour overlap with European teams
Experience with digital marketing, content management, web, social media, creative, branding, or communications technology
Experience managing marketing-related technology or digital transformation projects
Experience implementing AI into marketing or content workflows

What We're Looking For
We're looking for a project/program leader who understands both business and technology.
You don't need to be an AI engineer or developer. However, you should understand AI well enough to identify opportunities, ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, understand implementation considerations, and ensure that privacy, security, governance, and responsible-use requirements are addressed.
The ideal candidate has experience sitting between Marketing and Technology and knows how to take an idea from business need use case POC testing implementation adoption.

Projects progress predictably from concept and scoping through POC, pilot, implementation, and operational handoff.
Risks, resource constraints, data gaps, and dependencies are identified and addressed early.
AI solutions are implemented responsibly with appropriate governance, privacy, security, and human oversight.
Marketing and Technology stakeholders remain aligned throughout delivery.
New AI capabilities achieve measurable adoption and business impact.
