Accounts Receivable Specialist Location: Aurora, IL 60506
Schedule: Hybrid (after training: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Pay: $25-$27/hour (based on experience)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization in Aurora, IL that is looking to add an Accounts Receivable Specialist to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing customer accounts, and supporting the full AR cycle while building strong internal and external relationships.
Responsibilities / Achievements:
- Manage full-cycle accounts receivable including invoicing, cash application, and collections
- Apply daily cash receipts (ACH, wires, checks, lockbox) and ensure accurate posting to customer accounts
- Monitor AR aging and proactively follow up on past-due balances with customers via email and phone
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, short pays, and customer deductions in a timely manner
- Prepare and issue credit memos as needed for approved adjustments or disputes
- Generate and maintain accurate billing and invoicing in accordance with customer terms
- Assist with month-end close including AR reconciliations, aging reports, and supporting schedules
- Collaborate with sales and internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues
- Support reporting and analysis including AR aging, collections tracking, and cash flow forecasts
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of accounts receivable experience preferred
- Strong understanding of cash applications, collections, and billing processes
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers professionally
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize in a high-volume environment
