A-Level Diesel Technician

Seven Sons is looking to add 1-2 Experienced technicians to our team at our shop in Lenexa, KS. Scheduling would be primarily day shift, M-F with opportunity to work some weekends if desired as well. Desired experience for this role would be 3-5+ years. Seven Sons works on all makes and models of Semi trucks and trailers.

Candidates should have experience in the below:

- Extensive diagnostic capabilities - Candidates should understand how to accurately diagnose and repair issues relating to air brakes, electrical systems, aftertreatment systems, fuel systems, coolant systems, general engine diag, wheel end components, steering components, suspension components, A/C systems, ABS systems, etc.

- Candidates should have experience with at least 1 of the following diagnostic programs, along with the ability and understanding to learn and utilize other programs: JPro, Diagnostic Link, Davie, Tech Tool, Service Ranger, Etc.

- Pulling & replacing transmissions/clutches

- Candidates should have some level of experience with rebuilding engines and/or engine swaps

- Candidates should be able to accurately articulate their diagnostic steps, repair recommendations, repairs made, etc. into their work orders on each job

- Some level of welding experience preferred

Pay range for this position is $30-$45 per hour. This is completely dependent on a candidates experience and skillset. More experienced techs will be at the higher range.
