Education Qualifications: <ul><li>Graduate from an American Physical Therapy Association approved physical therapist associate degree program</li></ul> <p></p> <p>The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides skilled therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to support the recovery, mobility, and functional independence of patients in a hospital setting.</p> <p><b>Key responsibilities:</b></p> <ul> <li> Implementing individualized treatment plans, assisting with patient mobility and exercise programs, documenting progress in the electronic medical record, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and efficient discharge planning. </li> <li> Participate in team meetings, contributes to quality and process improvement initiatives, and supports department goals for excellence in patient care and operational efficiency </li> </ul> <p></p> <p>Due to being a critical access hospital, this PTA will work primarily in an inpatient setting, with some outpatient as needed. </p> <p></p> <p>Schedule: 28 hours per week, with an opportunity to pick up additional hours if available.
