Apply now to jumpstart your skilled craft career! </strong> </p><p><br></p><p> <strong>Salary Range:</strong> $30 - $36 per hour </p><p> <strong>Benefits:</strong> </p><ul><li>Paid Time Off<br></li><li>Medical<br></li><li>Retirement<br></li></ul><p> <br> </p><p> <strong>Here's what Skillit needs from you: </strong><br> </p><ul><li>Past experience in construction equipment operator jobs or a related supporting industry.</li><li>Past experience in operating different machinery used in construction, earthmoving or excavation.<br></li><li>A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or heavy equipment operator certificate is preferred for the job. <br></li><li>Strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills, mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow safety protocols.<br></li><li>Physical stamina to handle demanding job site conditions and long shifts.<br></li><li>Ability to read, write and communicate in English.</li><li>Understanding of GPS equipment and operations.</li></ul><p> <br> </p><p> <strong>Here's what you'll be doing:</strong> </p><ul><li>Operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, graders, backhoes, compactors, excavators, graders, haul trucks and cranes to move earth, dig, load, haul and spread material.</li><li>Ensuring safe equipment operation by conducting pre-use checks and regular maintenance inspections. <br></li><li>Following project blueprints, site plans, and safety procedures to maintain efficient work. <br></li><li>Coordinating with site managers, engineers, and other members of the construction staff to maintain workflow and project timelines. <br></li><li>Adherence to all safety protocols and regulations to minimize occupational risks at the workplace.<br></li><li>May require assisting with heavy physical activity (lifting/pushing/pulling objects weighing over 60 lbs)</li><li>Operate machinery in varied weather conditions (wet, humid, hot, exposure to fumes/ dust/ vibrations)<br></li></ul><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?okfjxkC5vXJ6GcsbyJG8056N8yhJil1sw" width="0" height="0" />
