You will be paid Per Diem if you live 90 + miles from Cheyenne, WY! </b><br><br> <b>Markets Hiring</b>: Cheyenne, WY Laramie, WY Fort Collins, CO Greeley, CO Denver, CO Loveland, CO Longmont, CO <br><br> <b>About the Position:</b> <ul><li> A Skillit customer is looking for 20+ Heavy Equipment Operators around Cheyenne, Wyoming for an immediate start. </li><li> Any workers that live 90+ miles away from the site will receive Per Diem. </li><li> This job will serve the front range and the mountains for various jobs around the below listed markets, starting with the project in Cheyenne. </li><li><b>Salary Range:</b> $30 - $36 per hour <ul><li>+ per diem for any workers living 90+ miles from the job site in Cheyenne.</li></ul></li></ul> <b>Benefits:</b> <ul><li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance.</li><li>Company-paid short & long-term disability.</li><li>Paid maternity/paternity leave</li><li>Company-paid life insurance.</li><li>401(k) with company match.</li><li>Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays</li></ul> <br><br> <b>Here's what Skillit needs from you:</b> <ul><li>Valid Driver's License.</li><li>Experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints, plans, and grade stakes.</li><li>Familiarity with GPS systems. (3D modeling software)</li><li>Prior construction experience.</li></ul> <b>Preferred:</b><ul><li>High school diploma.</li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish)</li><li>OSHA 10 certification.</li><li>Experience with wet utilities, compaction requirements, scrapers, and motor graders.</li><li>Willingness to travel (Per-diem included if working outside of Denver)</li></ul><br> <b>Physical Demands/Work Environment:</b><ul><li>Upper body strength and overall physical agility to complete tasks (ex. Operating a backhoe).</li><li>Ability to move heavy objects is often required to remove rocks and debris.</li><li>Ability to detect necessary equipment repairs by visually and/or audibly perceiving malfunctions.</li><li>Make fine, highly controlled muscular movements to adjust the position of a control mechanism.</li><li>Move heavy objects (50 LB) long distances (more than 20 feet)</li><li>Operators are frequently expected to work in rain and snow.</li><li>Work under hazardous conditions where physical danger exists due to mechanical equipment.</li><li>Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.</li></ul> <br><br> <b>Here's what you'll be doing:</b> <ul><li>Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, bulldozers, and more.</li><li>Perform daily equipment inspections and follow all safety guidelines.</li><li>Read and understand blueprints and site plans.</li><li>Mentor and support less experienced operators.</li><li>Work independently or as directed by the Foreman to meet project goals.</li><li>Help maintain quality and schedule by working efficiently and accurately.</li><li>Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure safe and smooth site operations.</li></ul><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?ifYQfZitTTaU9gZP5cE1H5tC2maATFORs" width="0" height="0" />
