One year Pediatric experience, required. One year Fetal Echocardiography experience, preferred. </li><li> Licensure/Certification: 1. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). 2. OR Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE or RCS) AND minimum experience of 1 year within an Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Accredited Facility and registry eligible in pediatric echo. 3. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire date </li><li> Additional Skills (required): Responsible for obtaining transthoracic echocardiograms including real time, pulsed Doppler, continuous wave Doppler, color Doppler in the pediatric population. Compiles data required by the pediatric cardiologist on all studies. Responsible for doing all other duties that may be assigned at the discretion of the manager and/or the Medical Director in addition to proper billing of the procedures and prioritizing patient scheduling. </li><li> Additional Skills (preferred): <ul><li> Pediatric and fetal experience preferred </li><li> 1. Knowledge of normal and congenital cardiac anatomy and physiology. </li><li> 2. Knowledge of palliative repairs of congenital heart defects. </li><li> 3. Knowledge of adult congenital imaging with current and formerly used palliative repairs. </li><li> 4. Knowledge of genetic syndromes and associated congenital heart defects. </li><li> 5. Knowledge of arrythmias and associated congenital heart defects. </li><li> Additional skills preferred for fetal: </li><li> 1. Knowledge of fetal cardiac anatomy and physiology. </li><li> 2. Knowledge of basic obstetrical ultrasound. </li><li> 3. Knowledge of genetic syndromes and associated congenital heart defects. </li><li> 4. Knowledge of maternal medication/drug use and associated congenital heart defects and/or arrhythmias. </li><li> Prefer credentialed in Fetal Echo via ARDMS (w/in 1 yr from date of hire) </li></ul></li></ul> What You'll Do: <p> The Pediatric Echocardiographer performs echocardiography studies for patients from the antenatal period to age 21 who have acquired or congenital heart disease, as well as adult congenital heart disease, calculates, interprets, and analyzes the hemodynamic data served from echocardiography studies. </p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?qTNiDjj9zmUhK9fFNJ53p8bN7t0t01NQb" width="0" height="0" />
