Position Summary

The Property & Casualty Risk Advisor serves as a trusted consultant to business clients by identifying exposures, recommending insurance and risk management solutions, and developing long-term client relationships. This position focuses on new business development while partnering closely with internal service teams to deliver exceptional client experiences and maximize retention.

Responsibilities

• Develop new commercial insurance business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship building
• Identify and cultivate Centers of Influence (CPAs, attorneys, financial advisors, bankers, etc.)
• Conduct client needs assessments and risk evaluations
• Present customized insurance and risk management solutions
• Generate new revenue while maintaining long-term client relationships
• Cross-sell additional agency services and specialty practice areas
• Partner with account management teams throughout implementation and renewals
• Participate in networking organizations, industry associations, and community events
• Maintain accurate client documentation within the agency management system
• Consistently achieve individual production goals

Qualifications

• Commercial Property & Casualty insurance sales experience
• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (California preferred)
• Proven success developing new business
• Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Bachelor's Degree preferred

• Existing transferable book of business
• Experience working with middle-market commercial clients
• Established professional referral network
• Experience with complex commercial insurance programs
