<b>Find your calling at Mercy!</b> <p></p>Performs specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. Also provides the patient care essential to these procedures. Applies principles of MR safety. Two registries working in area or Super User for select programs.<p></p> <b>Position Details:</b> <p></p><p><b>Education: </b>High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.</p><p><b>Experience:</b> 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program</p><p><b>Licensure/Certifications:</b> ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1 Advanced registry (MRI)- working in the area</p><p><b>Other Skills & Knowledge:</b></p><p> IV Insertion</p><p> Technical skill in medical scanning, understanding of cross sectional anatomy, and 3-D knowledge. </p><p>Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: </p><p> Manipulating equipment, lifting, moving, and transporting patients.</p><p> Continual standing or walking.</p><p> Adapt to stressful situations. </p><p><b>Equipment Used:</b></p><p> Should be proficient in the use of MRI Scanners, Power Injectors, workstations and Computers. </p><p><b>Preferred Education: </b>Bachelor degree </p><p></p> <b>Why Mercy?</b> <p></p><p>From day one, Mercy offers outstanding benefits - including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, tuition support, and matched retirement plans for team members working 32+ hours per pay period.</p><p></p><p>Join a caring, collaborative team where your voice matters.
