<p><b>Part-Time, Day Shift</b></p><p><b>12 Hours/Week</b></p><p><b>Onsite</b></p><p><b><br></b></p><p><b>Summary:</b><br></p><p>Kidsport staff assists in the intra-hospital transport of pediatric and adult patients as directed by standard work.</p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b><br></p><ol><li>Recognizes changes in patient status and notifies appropriate personnel during intra-hospital transports.</li><li>Assists with procedures and monitors patients during procedures according to departmental standards of care and practice.</li><li>Assists other staff members with inpatient care and movement/repositioning of patients. Follows the direction of Nurse regarding mode of transport for child.</li><li>Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the physical, psych/ social, educational, and safety needs of the patients served regardless of age.</li><li>Other duties as required.</li></ol><p>Other information:<br></p><p><strong>Technical Expertise</strong></p><ol><li>Medical Assistant; Patient Care assistant; Nursing assistant or Student nurse experience is preferred</li><li>Experience in pediatrics is preferred.</li><li>Experience in healthcare is preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in Transport software and phone communication preferred</li></ol><p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p><ol><li>Education: High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Certification: current Health Care Provider BLS training is required.</li><li>Years of experience: 6 months or more is preferred.</li><li>Years of experience supervising: None</li></ol><p>Part Time</p><p>FTE: 0.300000</p><p><br></p><p>Status: Onsite<br></p><p><br></p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?W2DxsawsqoRfYMersK3w6BTOXXv4kkeNf" width="0" height="0" />
