Overview: <p>The RN Coordinator is a registered professional nurse who supports the Nurse Manager/Director and provides shift-based leadership for the 24/7 operations of the Emergency Department, including weekends, holidays, and day/night shifts.</p><p> </p><p>This role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, age-appropriate patient and family-centered care by providing structure, guidance, and support to nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members. The RN Coordinator demonstrates strong critical thinking, sound clinical judgment, and effective resource management to drive quality outcomes, positive team engagement, and compliance with organizational standards.</p><p> </p><p>Serves as a clinical leader and expert, offering coaching, mentoring, and support to staff while promoting a collaborative, respectful, and service-focused environment. Optimizes staffing and resource utilization to ensure efficient operations and effective stewardship. Supports and leads change initiatives, ensuring successful implementation at the unit level.</p><p> </p><p>Collaborates with leadership to support staff development, performance management, and scheduling. Assists in maintaining patient flow and throughput in partnership with Nursing Coordinators. Provides direct patient care as needed based on staffing requirements and represents the Nurse Manager/Director in their absence.</p> Qualifications: <p> </p><ul><li>Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida required.</li><li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.</li><li>National nursing certification in a relevant specialty required, or must be obtained per VP/AVP agreement if not currently certified.</li><li>Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the clinical specialty required.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to practice autonomously with strong accountability and a focus on patient care outcomes.</li><li>Proven leadership in patient care delivery and unit-based performance outcomes.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote excellence in patient care.</li><li>Not designated as a motor vehicle operator for business purposes.</li></ul><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?56tSEfrY6xYjNkXhzCi2y6Q%2bOKuVtYI4i" width="0" height="0" />
