Overview: <p>There are 3 Cath Labs at UF Health's Leesburg Hospital and 1 Electrophysiology Lab. The Director is a servant-leader at UF Health Leesburg Hospital and he is dedicated to the success of his team and the people of his community. This is a close-knit Cath Lab where collaboration and teamwork is celebrated. The benefit about working here is that you will truly learn and acquire valuable experience, as there are a lot of complex interventional cases and structural heart cases. The Providers are excited about the field and love to share their knowledge with their staff. Our Cath Labs offer state-of-art technology and medical devices.</p> Responsibilities: <p>The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant.This position shift will be: </p><ul><li>7am-7pm =3 12 hours shifts + On-Call (1 night a week and 1 weekend a mo approximately every 3 rd or 4 th weekend=Fri night close of business to Mon 6 am)</li><li> Must report w/in 30 min.</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li><strong>Education</strong></li><ul><li>Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy</li><li>In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years' experience and:</li><ul><li>Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) <strong><em><u>OR</u></em></strong></li><li>Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)</li></ul></ul><li><strong>Licensure/Certification/Registration</strong></li><ul><li>American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)</li><li>If no ARRT, then one of the following licenses or certifications:</li></ul></ul><p>FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license <strong><em><u>OR</u></em></strong></p><p>FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license <strong><em><u>OR</u></em></strong></p><p>Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification <strong><em><u>OR</u></em></strong></p><p>Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification</p><p>any of the four license/certifications above within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields</p><ul><li>BLS required</li><li>ACLS required</li></ul><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?1zF6V1hZD6TS6ibu%2f8iCIH9YzqbC43eOz" width="0" height="0" />
