What We Offer: <ul><li> <strong>Schedule</strong>: Full-time (40 hours), Pre-op schedule is , PACU schedule is . Rotating between the two areas so hours will vary depending on assignment for the day (preop vs PACU). Schedule will be known in advance. M-F, no weekends, no major holidays & no call! Occasional late coverage days assigned. </li><li> <strong>Department</strong>: Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC), preop/PACU opening. </li><li> <strong>Location</strong>: Hawthorne Surgical Center, 1999 South Hawthorne Road, Winston Salem </li><li> <strong> Unit Info: </strong> Some of the common procedures consist of Opthalmology, Pain & Podiatry. Will be cross trained to preop, phase I and phase II recovery. </li><li> <strong> This position requires either preop/PACU, ICU, ED or critical care experience. </strong> </li></ul> What We're Looking For: <ul><li> Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. </li><li> Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. </li><li> Current valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact required. </li><li> One-year relevant experience, preferred. </li></ul> What You'll Do: <p> The Registered Nurse ASC is expected to work in a primary nursing area for the center. The Registered Nurse ASC is able to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations.
